A flex-fuel engine is an alternative fuel made from a mixture of petrol and ethanol. Flex-fuel vehicle engines are designed to run on more than one type of fuel, Several changes have been made to the engine and fuel system, which makes it look similar to the regular petrol model. Flex fuel is manufactured from sugarcane and maize, for which reason it can also be called alcohol base fuel.

The manufacturing process involves starch and sugar fermentation, besides, ethanol engines are much more economical than normal petrol. While the price of petrol in the Indian market is around ₹100, the price of ethanol is going to be between ₹60 and ₹70. And moreover, it is going to be a boon for our farmers. The condition of the farmers of our country will also improve and our economy is also going to see more growth.
